OFFICE INFORMATION

  • North Carolina Eye and Ear, established in 1926, is a sixteen (16) physician group practice with four (4) locations: N. Durham, S. Durham, Cary and Roxboro.
  • Twelve ophthalmologists and five otolaryngologists are housed in a 34,000 square foot main campus located on N. Roxboro Street in Durham, North Carolina. 
  • All locations are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The specialties that are represented in our Department of Ophthalmology are:

  • Corneal and External Diseases, Corneal Transplants
  • Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (including surgery of the eyelid, orbit and lacrimal systems)
  • Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus
  • Neuro-Ophthalmology
  • Refractive Surgery, including Lasik
  • Specialty services include an optical shop and contact lens dispensary and fitting services,ophthalmic photography, visual fields, OCT, ophthalmic laser treatment,and a board certified orthoptist
